Jeff D. Breeland - General Manager
Jeff began in the trenches at one of North Carolina’s largest dealerships some 14 years ago, and quickly set out to learn every aspect of dealership operations. He has spent his career developing his skill all over the country, working in a total of 9 states before coming back to the Carolinas. A small town boy at heart, he takes solace in the fact that he is now in a tranquil setting similar to his upbringing, where the customers often share his work ethic and family values. This man’s passion is his work. He takes great pride in being “the car guy” to many of the customers that have become friends over the years. He's been known be able to choose a vehicle that his client will love within minutes of meeting them – and have them come back time after time – often requesting that he just ship what he knows will fit them. Although you can catch a glimmer in his eye when new products arrive - cars themselves don’t excite Jeff. His priority is doing good business: the joy of making sure that you will be okay, long after your investment at US 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep. He paces the showroom daily, not with egotistical pride, but with a watchful eye to ensure that customers are being treated with respect, integrity and otherwise feel at home. Jeff invests his time in people and believes that the staff at US 1 is a reflection of his leadership. This is why his number one priority is being sure that we treat every customer like a VIP each time you visit.

Justin Johns - Finance Manager
Direct from where our nation was born; the keystone state, comes Justin Johns our Finance Manager. He is a PA transplant enjoying the tranquility of working in Sanford while making friends with every customer he assists. Justin is an avid football fan – Colts Fan – but we still love him. A man of many talents Justin has spent time as a radio and event disc jockey. He spent 4 years as a Sales Specialist at US 1 before being promoted to Finance. The thing he loves most about the car business is meeting new people and making friends along the way. He brings 35 banking partnerships with him in order to find you credit solutions – not problems. He will review your application upon receipt and help you in true US 1 tradition – with respect and integrity.

Tony Talley - Sales Specialist
Tony Talley in true US Army form still incorporates honor, courage and commitment into his sales profession. You may be tempted to salute this former Drill Sergeant when he opens the door to welcome you into his home of 6 years – US 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Tony fell in love with the automotive industry long before finding us while supervising the automotive operations of 6 locations though out the world while serving his country. He has sat in the consumer’s seat over 60 times (Yes, 60 vehicle purchases in his lifetime) and is a confessed car nut. Tony sees his position as a consumer advocate and always takes the time to explain how he can get you more car for less money. Tony’s proudest accomplishment is obtaining his ranking in the military, but today he does take some pride in being one the top ranking Mobsters and Mafia War gamers in the nation. It’s pretty obvious that when Tony sets out to do something he does it right and that always works its way down to his customers.

Brandon Burns - Sales Specialist
Born and raised in town US 1 is proud to work with one of Sanford’s hometown boys; Brandon Burns. He has spent 2 years assisting our customers, but when not on the clock he is a self proclaimed relaxation junkie. Brandon is a big brother to many previously working as a director for a local after school program and is currently a Volunteer Firefighter. Brandon believes that investing in a new vehicle is one of the biggest decisions his customers will make and he takes great pride in helping people make that decision while making a new friend.

Mark Slater - Internet Sales Specialist
Inspector Slater is a previous City of Raleigh Police Officer and transplant from Brooklyn, New York. As an Internet Coordinator his job never ends – when the store closes up – Mark is still on the clock answering your questions and inquiries about our dealership and its vehicles. He is most often seen with his Bluetooth talking to a customer except when he stops long enough to take a break and enjoy his alter ego as a Mafia Wars and Mobsters gamer. Mark spent time as a Sales Team Leader in the big city of Raleigh and became acquainted with the exceptional Chrysler Jeep and Dodge products before bringing his expertise to Sanford .He has taken quite well to the hometown feel and of course the cuisine down at Elaine’s Grill. Mark is a self proclaimed car junkie but we consider him a people person as he offers a level of customer service to our customers that simply can’t be beat. When asked what he likes the most about the car business he says, “cars and people – what is better than that?”

Sedric Murphy - Sales Specialist
Born across the pond in England, Sedric spent most of his young life traveling as the child of military parents before settling in Sanford, NC at the age of 11. Previous to working for US 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep he spent time as a Network Administrator. There is never a dull moment in the car business and Sedric has quickly caught on to the fun we have as a team while we serve Sanford and its surrounding communities. Quality time with his family and playing guitar is what he enjoys the most during his off time. Sedric takes the time to listen to each of his customers; your needs and wants are as important to him as they are to you. Sedric believes that when you invest in a new or used vehicle at US 1 you invest in him as well, his appreciation for that shines through in every customer interaction.

Tommy McDonald - Service Advisor
Born and raised a southern boy, Tommy grew up in Goldsboro and has taken quite well to his Sanford surroundings. An expert in the domestics he has spent time working the showrooms of Ford Lincoln and Mercury before learning the Chrysler Jeep and Dodge products. Interaction with people is what Tommy likes the most about the car business. There is little down time in the car business but when Tommy can catch a break he is immersed in a good book and enjoys the greats like Shakespeare and Hemmingway. Tommy has seen the world with over 20 countries visited while serving in the US Navy.

Our Parts Manager comes with an extensive background in the auto industry and has spent 8 years helping our customers at US 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Mike is a Sanford resident and happy to be working in his hometown where he often knows a customer the moment they call or visit the parts department. Direct from the Lone Star State; Lisa is the epitome of a southern belle, offering exceptional hospitality to both client and co-worker. If you hear the staff at US 1 discussing a dish that someone served up at the last holiday party, it will be Lisa’s as she out cooks us all. US 1 accepted Lisa 2 years ago and she instantly formed a passion for the personal interaction that her position provides. At home Lisa’s true passion is evident, her children. Rachel Benedict - Administrative Assistant
The northern winds blew in our gregarious Rachel nearly one year ago from Connecticut and we have been enjoying her dedication since day one. It was a big change from city life to the quaint settings of Sanford, but Rachel has taken quite well to southern living. Her dedication to the customers at US1 is evident as she approaches you with concern and a desire to serve. Rachel’s sense of urgency probably comes from her previous years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her favorite thing to do in NC is traveling to the shore to enjoy the sun and sand, but with four lovely children at home we guess the time to do so is limited.

Kyle Scotton - Oil Change Technician
Kyle is excited about bringing his knowledge to his hometown of Sanford after working the sales floors of Raleigh, NC. Kyle is not new to the industry as he has previously served as a service technician and performed state inspections. Remember to get oil changed every 3,000 miles and be sure to see Kyle when that time approaches. Outside the office Kyle invests all his time and energy into his family – a lovely wife and daughter. Oh and Duke Fans – you have a friend in Kyle!
